They say ‘Actions speak louder than words.’ But sometimes, they’re not enough! A father tries to fulfill all the requirements of his children. Then why is that he can never muster up the courage to hug his son and convey his love for him? Does that make a father love his son any less? Do social norms transcend the boundaries of love?

When a father is present when his son takes his first steps, shouldn't the son be present for his father's last? Why do fathers, on one hand, want their sons to be their replicas and want to see their son victorious in every sphere, on the other, irrespective of his own failures. To know the answers to these age-old yet pertinent questions, read author Pratham Devang's heart-warming tale of an unusual bond of love between a father and his son.

Review:

The story is all about relation which is shared by a father and son. The story starts with the news of the bomb blast at the school and Abhi's friend informs him about this and ask him to rush to his child school.
There is chaos, people are screaming, students are in pain and both, Aadra and Abhi are upset about their child. But at one corner, they find him, terrified. Then they take him to Hospital, where the doctor declares that he is all fine. After this, Abhi goes back to his house, where he shares his pain with Shankar. He takes out his album, where memories of his part are there. All the night, he shares his story which was related to the photographs. At the end of the story, he finds something which made him upset about all the wrong he did with his father. But the old saying is true. Time never waits for anybody. And Abhimanyu cannot do anything but regret. But he makes sure that he will never let his child regret.

Book Cover & Title- Book cover shows a picture of a boy and his father, who does fishing around the corner of the sea. Son is always the copy of his father. Though the font style of the title of the book is not appropriate plus the tagline is merely visible.

Narration, Editing, and Language- The narration is in the third-person but when Abhi narrates the past to his servant, it is in the first person. There's no editing mistake plus no grammatical errors, so it makes the book free from all errors.

My Review- 'We never value what we have.' This line perfectly defines the story. As in this story, Abhimanyu never understands his father's love and care for him. But he always thinks that he is dominating in nature. When bomb blast happens at the school; when he sees his child in pain, he realizes what importance his child holds in his life. As the story progress, so many things come out about his past, father, and life. The story is realistic. I feel some instances are repetitive. But all in all, the story is inspiring and new. Not old school romance.

Like-
1) Plot.
2) Reality

Dislike-
