Visit COOLEST places in INDIA without spending much of MONEY and TIME.

Visiting new places is always a kind of pleasure that one gets. And pleasure get double when you have to spend less money on it. I am going to write how to visit Amritsar-Dalhousie-Dharamsala-Chandigarh without spending much of money and time

Day 1: Reach New Delhi by noon.

You should reach New Delhi by noon by whatever convenience that suits you. Check-in any hotel that is cheap and doesn't ask for much. Get yourself ready by 5 Pm and go out for some fun. Recommended place for the short time trip in Delhi would be Connaught Place. Spend time with your friends, post your snaps on snapchat while having coffee at Star Bucks ;)

Now it is time to get started with your real trip, book an AC sleeper bus from Delhi to Amritsar, that would cost you around 900 per person. And have a nice resting time in bus for next 8-9 hours.

Day 2: Amritsar

You will reach Amritsar by 7 in the morning and please take a note that don't ask those auto waales for hotels, their hotels are as bad as the taste of bitter gourd. Check in at some hotel, and for 3 persons room, it will not be more than 1000 RS a day, YES 1000 RS A DAY, with A.C., TV. Now it is not the time for you to rest, forget rest for the next 6 days and enjoy as much you can. Have breakfast and leave for Golden Temple at least by 10, because you would find huge crowd there and it would take 2-3 hours. Now have your lunch and book a taxi for Wagha Border (100 Rs/Person). After having lunch, you will left with ample time to visit Jaliyawala Bagh that is very near to Golden Temple.
Taxi will leave by 2:30 and reach there by 3:30 or 4. But it is not easy to get seats there, as the crowd is once again huge there. And checking and security would also take some time. Retreat ceremony starts at 6 and ends in half an hour. Enjoy the feeling of patriotism and dance on the tunes of DESH BHAKTI SONGS.
Taxi will leave you back to your hotel by 8, have dinner and go out on a walk to Golden Temple once again (book your hotel near to Golden Temple). Golden Temple shines like a star at night and you would feel the peace, that is missing in most of the lives.

Day 3: Dalhousie via Pathankot

After having an amazing day at Amritsar, sets yourself for early morning journey to Pathankot. Leave for Pathankot by the very first bus i.e. at 5 AM. You'll reach there in like 3 hours and the buses for Dalhousie will be available there. You will reach Dalhousie by 12 noon and the cost per person will not more than 300/person. You must not like the idea of travelling by bus, but trust me, it gives you the pure pleasure. You can look out on roads, see how different different people enjoy their journey.
Now once again check in, and to your surprise, we booked a room at 900/day for 3 persons. That is where we saved our money. Have lunch and rest for some time. Leave your hotel by 4 and please avoid travelling by car there 'cause the real pleasure lies in walking, and 3-4 kms is not much.
You'll find many things, best will the places where you can click pics for your FB/WhatsApp Dp, one year stock can be clicked at that place.
It will take another 4-5 hours and what you need is food, food and food. Also, don't forget to book your taxi (1800 for 3 places) for the next day and tell your Taxi driver to reach at your place as earliest as possible.

Day 5: Dalhousie- Sight Seeing and Dharamsala

Leave around 7.30 from hotel for Sight Seeing. First we went to Kalatop Sanctuary, where we found nothing, not even a dog. But it was one of the best places for pictures. If you are pictureholic and crazy about selfies, you should visit this place. You'll get free in an hour and then straight away leave for Khajjiar, that is also known as MINI SWITZERLAND. Paragliding is not recommended instead one should go for horse riding, 'cause it saves time plus you are not in danger.
Then leave for Dainkund Peak, which is the highest point in Dalhousie. It's a kind of trekking point and at the destination you'll find a Mata's Mandir though it is difficult but adventurous. When those clouds touches you and you feel like awesome and live the amazing time of your life.
It is the end of the short journey of sight seeing at Dalhousie and it would take around 4-5 hours and taxi driver will leave you at the bus stand, from where you can take your bus for Dharamsala.

Dharamsala- Bus will leave you around 6.30, as it is a 4 hours journey from Dalhousie to Dharamsala. You should go to Macleodganj rather than staying at Dharamsala, 'cause most of the things will be there. Booking a hotel there isn't cheap. It cost us around 1500 for 3 persons/night. Many of you might be thinking that I am just kidding but it is true, that wasn't cheap for us. Have your dinner, go out on some walk, enjoy the climate and adapt the culture of the people staying there.

Day 6: Dharamsala-Sight Seeing and Chandigarh

Like Dalhousie, we asked our taxi driver to come at 8. Then we first went to Bhagsung Fall, where there was a Shiv Mandir and a water fall. Then from there for the next 5 hours, we left everything on our driver bhaiya. He took us to different places, like Tea Garden, Dharamsala Stadium, Dal Lake and Church which was very famous there. It was not so satisfactory but it was fine. Major things which irritated us was the weather which was totally opposite to Dalhousie. There we were enjoying cold climate but in Dharamsala, everything became hot and humid.
Driver bhaiya left us at Bus Stand. And remember do carry your bags with you 'cause it will help you to save your time of going back to hotel.

Chandigarh- We left at 4 Pm for Chandigarh, reached there at 12 midnight. Don't think of booking after reaching, book your hotel before reaching. We booked it on GoIbibo.com and it provided us hefty discount and gave us a room at 800/night. (CHEAPEST AND THE BEST TILL NOW) :D

Day 7: Chandigarh visit and New Delhi

Chandigarh is surely not a very good place to visit if you are looking for sight seeing especially not in summers. Chandigarh is as hot as sun and humidity is always on the top. But you could spend your morning by watching a movie and I remember we watched UDTA PUNJAB there. Chandigarh is a place for shopholics. Spend your afternoon by shopping. Trust me, you'll get best of the deals there. Soon, the time came when we finally booked a bus for New Delhi. It started at 6 Pm and left New Delhi at 12 midnight.

Soon, the journey, one of the best journeys of lifetime came to an end. It was really hard to say bye-bye to my best buddies. Time never stops for anybody. We got loads of memories with us from that trip which will be remembered for lifetime.

Now what are you waiting for? Call your friends. Plan the trip and winters are coming, which would make your trip more beautiful and peaceful. Suggestions are appreciated guys.

Thank You
